The global market for true wireless headsets (TWS) has grew by 17 percent and reach to 68.2 million units in the first quarter of 2022, according to the new data released by Canalys reported on JUN 06, 2022.

Apple, Xiaomi and Samsung still remained the top three ranks in this quarter, but only Apple has posted growth.  
TWS headphones was the only device category to grow since the third quarter of 2021, leading the overall growth of 4% in personal smart audio devices in the worldwide. 

Apple, the market leader, saw shipments of its AirPods series, rising 14 percent and reach to 19.3m units, while Beats by Dre, its audio device brand, saw even more impressive growth, rising 553 percent and reach to 2.4m units.  
Beats’ strong performance was helped by a strong reception for the Studio Buds headphones and its recently launched Fit Pro headphones. 

According to consumer’s requirements, it is hard to launch a generation of TWS headphones per year, This category was extremely competitive, The third-party vendors to sell goods in the margins of society, The company hope to sell a phone with a TWS headphones together.
General in all, TWS headphones will continue to maintain growth in the next few quarters, but will be more competitive.
